Upgrades

This customer had a centralized, older PLC control for a number of virtually identical machines.  Whenever the controller had a problem their entire production would be stopped until the problem could be resolved.  The machines also had no safety guarding or interlocking.  The Blades Design Group LLC created a new control, using a current model PLC for localized control on the machines.  The new control essentially duplicated the control from the older, central unit with the addition of interlocking on the machines.  Safety guards were also added to increase operator safety.
